Cate Eckhardt
In the fall of 2010 Cate Eckhardt joined the Columbia College Cougar volleyball coaching staff after a successful one year stint with the Cougars. Eckhardt transferred to Columbia after playing three seasons at NCAA Division I member the University of Albany in New York. In her only season with the Cougars Cate the team in kills and was named the American Midwest Conference Newcomer of the Year. Eckhardt also earned first team all-conference honors and was a second team NAIA All-American.
Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Cate is finishing up her degree in psychology and plans to graduate in May of 2011. She plans to continue to stay active with volleyball and coaching.
