Cougar Soccer adds Dan Rapp to 2009 roster Columbia, Mo. – Columbia College men's soccer head coach John Klein officially announced today that Dan Rapp has committed to play for the Cougars beginning this fall.

Rapp, a St. Louis, Mo. native, will join Columbia's roster after a successful high school career at John F. Kennedy in Manchester, Mo. In his senior season Dan scored eight goals and had five assists as a midfielder. He was named first team All-Conference, All-District and All-State as well as being named to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro honorable mention team for his efforts.

As a junior Rapp received the Missouri State High School Activities Association Award of Excellence in Sportsmanship while being named first team All-Conference and second team All-State.

"Dan is a committed student-athlete," stated Klein. "A confident player with strong distribution and defensive abilities, he will compete for time at both midfield and outside back."
