Graduate Assistant Softball Coach
Katie McMahon
Katie McMahon returns for her second year as an assistant coach for the Columbia College softball program. Along with coaching for Columbia in 2008, she was the pitching coach for Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Mo.
McMahon was a standout player for the Cougar softball team from 2005-2008. She was an honorable mention NAIA All-American in 2007 and 2008 as a pitcher and infielder. McMahon received First Team All-Conference, All-Region and was named Conference and Region Pitcher of the Year in 2007 and 2008. Katie was also a three-time academic all-conference recipient.
McMahon attended Knox County High school in Edina, Mo., and graduated in 2005. In December 2008 she graduated from Columbia College with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business.
Katie resides in Columbia and will graduate in May with a master’s degree in Business.
