Kansas City, Mo. – The Columbia College women's basketball team jumped up two spots to No. 3 in the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, capturing their highest ranking in program history. Columbia received two first-place votes and a total of 235 points after conference wins against Stephens (Mo.), 95-49, and Missouri Baptist 90-55, last week.

Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) continues to hold the No. 1 ranking for the third week in-a-row, claiming eight-of-ten first-place votes and 249 total points. No. 2 Westmont, No. 4 Campbellsville, and No. 5 MidAmerica Nazarene round out the top five.

Columbia (25-1) currently ranks No. 2 team in the country with a scoring margin of 23.9 and total rebound margin of 10.3. The Cougars also fall in the top-five in total scoring offense (2033) and total rebound offense (1115). The Cougars hold the No. 1 spot in the AMC standings with a 19-1 conference record after posting two AMC wins last week. No. 8 Lyon College is one game behind with a record of 18-2 while No. 12 Freed-Hardeman is third in the conference with a record of 15-4.

The Cougars return to the court on Thursday, February 18^th when they travel to Henderson, Tenn. to take on No. 12 Freed-Hardeman University. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m. They will then end the week with a conference matchup with Williams Baptist College on Saturday, February 20^th. Game time is slated for 2:00 p.m. in Walnut Ridge, Ark.
