Scouting/Recruiting Coordinator
Steve Burk
Steve Burk has been the Columbia College Men's Basketball recruiting coordinator for the past 11 years. Before arriving joining Columbia College, Burk coached basketball teams at Chester High School, Francis Howell High School and Jackson High School, giving him a high school record of 380 wins and 188 loses. During those years Burk's teams have earned five conference titles, four district titles and two sectional titles.
Steve has coached many great players at the high school level and has seen 20 of those individuals go on to play at the college level, seven of which played for Columbia College.
Burk has a combined 34 years of coaching experience.
He graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1974 and went on to earn his Masters in History Education in 1978. He currently resides in Jackson, Mo. with his wife Janice. The Burk's have two children, Kyle and Drew.
