Columbia College Athletics logo contest

Columbia College’s Athletic department has decided to rework the current athletics logo. In an effort to engage the Columbia College family, they would like to invite students, faculty, staff, alumni and fans of Columbia College the opportunity to participate in the Columbia College Athletic logo contest. The winner, as selected by a panel of judges, will receive an iPad.

Objectives

  • To refresh and "modernize" the Columbia Cougars logo
  • To make the Athletics logo more simple and production-friendly
  • To create a design that encompasses all sports and compliments “We Are CC” and the institutional brand

Contest criteria and forms

All entries are due on February 15, 2012. Entries received after that date will not be considered or accepted.

Contest participants must include the following documents to be considered:

  • Entry form Microsoft Word document (completely filled out)
  • Design/originality consent form Microsoft Word document (allowing Columbia College all rights to use the artwork submitted without royalties or further financial obligations.  It also outlines that all artwork is original and authentic and does not violate any other parties/designers/organizations, etc.)
  • Publicity consent form Microsoft Word document (allowing Columbia College the rights to utilize the winner for media and promotional purposes)
