Twenty volleyball teams from colleges across the nation will be honored at the Banquet of Champions, presented by Tachikara™.
Parade of Champions
Free and open to the publicAll 20 teams will be introduced during the traditional Parade of Champions. The parade will take place at 8:15 p.m. (CST), Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, on the floor of the Southwell Complex.
Teams should be at the Southwell Arena in uniform warm-ups and court shoes by 8:00 p.m. Further team instructions will be included in the team tournament packet and reviewed at the tournament coaches meeting Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007, at 8:30 p.m. (CST). Participation in the opening ceremony program is mandatory for all tournament teams and coaches.
The event also will include a performance by the Mid-Missouri High Steppers.
Perfect Serve
Five lucky fans will have a chance to win $10,000 during the perfect serve contest that will be held during the quarterfinals, semifinals and championship matches. Go out to the garage and dust off that old volleyball and start practicing your Perfect Serve, you never know it just might pay you $10,000.
