GENERAL RULES:

All games will consist of two 20 minute periods with a four minute halftime period. The clock will run continuously, except during: time outs, injury time outs, and the final two minutes of each half. If the game ends in a tie, there will be a three minute overtime period w/ one time-out allotted per team.  During the final two minutes of each half the clock will stop at all dead ball situations.  If a team has a 20 point lead or greater, in the second half, the clock will continue to run during the final two minutes.  If a team has a 30 point lead or greater with 10 minutes remaining in the second half game will be called

There will be one jump ball at mid-court at the beginning of the game. All subsequent jump ball situations will be decided by using the alternate possession method. A jump-ball will also be administered at the beginning of any overtime period.

Each team will be allowed two time outs per game. The timeouts will be one minute long and may be taken at any time during the game (must have possession of the ball or be in a dead ball situation). One additional timeout will be allowed if overtime is necessary.

Substitutions may be made only in a dead ball situation. Substitutes MUST notify the scorer of their intent to enter the game

NO DUNKING - Dunking results in Technical Foul
The shot does count.

No offensive player is allowed to have both feet in the lane for a full three seconds. Loss of possession will occur if this rule is violated.

Foul shots: If the free-thrower or teammates enter the lane prematurely (before the ball hits the rim), it will result in a dead ball and no points awarded.

When a team has committed its sixth common foul in a half, all subsequent player fouls shall be penalized by awarding the opposing team a one and one situation from the foul line. After 10 team fouls in a half, two free throw will be awarded for each foul.

A player will be disqualified from the game after committing his/her fifth personal foul.

All courts have a MID-COURT LINE, and there will be ten second count. Back-court violations will also be enforced.

A held ball violation may be called after 5 seconds of continuous control by one player. The purpose is to discourage “freezing” or “keep away”.
