3-Point Shootout – Two rounds consisting of five balls shot from each of the

                             five designated positions on the three point arc.  The first four balls will be

                                    worth 1 point each with the final ball at each position (“The Money Ball”)

                                    being worth two points.  Participants scoring 10 or more points move on

                                    to the Final Round.

Free Throw Contest – Two rounds of 25 shots each (legal free throws).

To qualify for the second (Final) round, at least 18 shots must be made in

 the first round.

Slam Dunk – Preliminary round includes a 90 second time period to accumulate a minimum of two                        successful dunks.  Dunks will be scored by judges.  The top three scorers from
                       each division will move to the final round. 

Divisions: Women – 7-6” rim height
            Men Under 6’ tall – 8’6” rim height
           Men over 6’ tall – 9’3” rim height

Equipment:  All necessary equipment will be provided by CC Intramural Sports.  Women

            may use their regulation size (28.5” diameter) ball.  Men must use a

            regulation size ball. Non-marking court shoes must be worn by all players. 

 Eligibility:   This event and all Columbia College Intramural events are open to currently

            enrolled day and night students, faculty and staff.  A current CC photo ID will

            be required of each participant.
